PC Upgrades

If you feel you system may be getting older, maybe not operating as fast as you would like you may benefit from a PC upgrade.

One of the most popular upgrades is additional memory, increasing the memory can allow the system to work faster and make it more stable.

PC memory is reletively inexpensive and can be installed easily but it does come in different formats, please be aware if you purchase memory yourself that you get the correct format.  If you contact us to provide additional memory we will call to check your systems requirements and advise you accordingly, WE WILL NOT INSTALL ADDITIONAL MEMORY IF WE FEEL YOUR SYSTEM WILL NOT BENEFIT FROM IT e.g. if the processor is too slow, adding memory will not increase performance and will only be a waste of your money. 

Another popular upgrade is a DVD writer, when you purchase a DVD writer from us we will install it AT NO EXTRA COST and demonstrate it working before leaving.

Photographs, Videos and music are very popular on PC systems but can use up large chunks of  the hard drive and before you know it you have run out of space.  Adding a second drive or replacing your hard disk is another upgrade which can be very useful in PC systems. 

When fitting a new hard drive the PC is removed to our premises where we remove you personal data files and re-install them on the new hard drive once the operating system has been installed.
